Macedonian choreographers on the 4th edition of the Balkan Dance Platform 2007 (BDP 2007)
11th to 14th October, 2007, Athens, Greece
Iskra Sukarova & Dejan Srhoj with “Formula”, Ana Josifovska with “In & Out” and Kire Miladinoski with “Not Close” were accepted to present their works on the BDP 2007.
The 3rd edition of this significant regional, biannual event in the field of contemporary dance was successfully organized by LOKOMOTIVA in November 2005, in Skopje, Macedonia.

Jasmina Prolic an internationally recognised contemporary dance choreographer was guest choreographer in Lokomotiva from 7th till 9th June 2007 in Skopje.

This presentation is a result of the collaboration between FemLink, Lokomotiva – Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture and French Cultural Centre in Macedonia.
The audience will have opportunity to see the first FemLink video collage under the title FRAGILITY, which consist of 30 short videos (max 2 min.) realised by woman video artists from all around the world. In the frames of its international collaboration, Lokomotiva continues its cooperation with Yoshiko Chuma and The School of Hard Knocks (USA), GOH Productions (New York/ USA) and Beagle Inc (Japan). After the successful presentation of the contemporary dance performance A page Out of Order Overland in front of the Macedonian audience, they are continuing their work and research on this project in New York. Therefore, in the beginning of this month the Macedonian part of the team went for New York, whereas in the period of 16 - 20 January 2007 this project will be on the repertoire of the famous NY theatre DTW (Dance Theater Workshop) more on www.dtw.org |
