Macedonian audience had an opportunity to encounter work of Ivo Dimcev on the Balkan Dance Platform in 2005, as well through the collaboration with the Macedonian director Srdzan Janikievik, as choreographer on the performance Kupidona.

Performance Enjoy July is realised on the initiative of STATION- Service for contemporary dance from Belgrade, with the goal to enhance the regional collaboration between dancers and performing artists, through it to enrich the Balkan dance scene.

STATION- Service for contemporary dance and Ivo Dimcev, one of the most significant choreographers, performers and multimedia artists from the Balkan scene, as well as well-known internationally throughout Europe, had a premiere of the performance Enjoy July on BELEF (Belgrade) 2007.

Performers in the Enjoy July are Dragana Bulut, Liljana Tasic and Marko Milic.

After the premiere on BELEF and regular performances in the space Magacin in Belgrade, Sofia and on the Balkan Dance Platform 2007 in Athens, performance is presented in Skopje and Zagreb.

Ivo Dimcev for the performance:
Most of the performances that I created or I have seen in the last few years are dealing with frustrations, war, politics, social, aesthetic and theatre problematic. Therefore in Enjoy July, I wanted to go in completely opposite direction and to research the phenomenon of the human PLEASURE and some possible and impossible ways how to enjoy the summer 2007.

This performance in Macedonia is realized in the partnership between Lokomotiva- Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture and Macedonian National Theatre, and STATION- Service for contemporary dance, Belgrade, Serbia.

This project is realized with support of the Swiss Cultural Programme in Serbia and Ministry of Culture of R. Serbia.
