One of the activities of the research-based project “Museum of women stories” aimed at opening larger discussion with the audience from Pelagonija Region (Bitola, Prilep and Demir Hisar) for the question of emancipation of women and their role in the society was implemented in the form of public events with screening of films and discussion on the subject matter with invited guests – professionals in the filed. Documentary film about Balkan traditional music

Arnaud Lanouiller, a video artist from Lower Normandy, France, attracted by the culture, people and especially by the traditional music from the Balkans, decides to make documentary film about the Balkan traditional music. As freelance artist he spent three months in the Balkans (June – August 2014) in order to perform a research for his film project. Coming from Lower Normandy, a region with which Lokomotiva collaborates since 2007 in the frame of the Decentralised cooperation programme between Lower Normandy and Macedonia, he addressed Lokomotva for support on his research part in Macedonia. more…

In the frame of DECENTRALISED COOPERATION between Lower Normandy and Macedonia, Lokomotiva is coordinating the programme line dedicated to artistic mobility and exchange. This programme line enables to artists from Lower Normandy to realise their residency in Macedonia, with the support given by the French Institute in Paris.
