Lokomotiva is a collaborating partner of the Mixed Union of the bay Mont Saint Michel since 2012 and the organisation is implementing the programme activities in the filed of culture and cultural policies on the territory of Pelagonija Region since 2011 in collaboration with the Centre for Regional Development of Pelagonija Region (CRDPR).
In the frame of the programme for decentralised cooperation one of the goals is establishing a direct partnership and collaboration between territories and administrative unites from Lower Normandy and Macedonia. Though the programme lead by Lokomotiva in the last four-years contacts for collaboration and exchange of experiences were enabled between the Region Pelagonija (Macedonia) and the bay Mont Saint Michel (Lower Normandy). This working process created a base for entering the new phase of the programme in which direct collaboration between these territories will be established in 2015. Therefore, the goal of this working visit was sharing ideas and discovering potentials and common interest on which direct collaboration between the bay Mont Saint Michel and the Region Pelagonija will be based.

Sandrine Poulet, responsible for tourism, culture and communication in the Mixed Union of the bay Mont Saint Michel
Caroline Périer, responsible for tourism and cooperation between the bay Mont Saint Michel and Macedonia

Meetings were organised with the director of CRDPR (Emilia Gjeroska) and Mayors of the municipalities Mogila, Novaci, Demir Hisar as well with the representative for tourism of the of municipality Bitola and the directors of the National Museum of Bitola and the House of Culture in Krushevo.

On the meetings the delegation of the Mixed Union of the bay Mont Saint Michel was led by Lokomotiva (Biljana Tanurovska-Kjulavkovski and Violeta Kachakova) and accompanied by Ivan Dimitirevska, head of the Office for Decentralized Cooperation LN/MK and the Association of Local Democracy Agencies.
