The cultural cooperation is important aspect of the programme exchange between the twined cities of Dijon and Skopje. In this context since 2011 Lokomotiva, as organisation with significant role in the creation and dissemination of contemporary Macedonian art production is being a collaborating partner to festival Dièse (http://www.festivaldiese.com/) by presenting part of its own productions/projects or proposing programme for the festival.
In March 2012 a delegation from Dijon consist of Philippe GRONGNET – responsible for culture in the Direction for Culture in the city of Dijon/Director of the festival Dièse, Hélène BERNARD – responsible for the mission Eldorado Cinéma – Association les Amis de l'Eldo and Frédéric MENARD – responsible for Zutique music production, had a working visit tof Skopje in order to meet different cultural organisations and institutions working in the filed of film, video and music. In the period of their stay Lokomotiva has arranged meetings with different artists, organisations, institutions and companies (PMG Recordings, Skopje Jazz Festival, Macedonian Cinemateque, Skopje Film Festival etc.) and proposed some programme content for the following festival Dièse. The visit resulted with the selection and screening of the OMNIBUS SKOPJE REMIXED as part of Cabaret Video Programme of the festival. SKOPJE REMIXED is a feature film (out 2012) produced by "New Macedonian Video", consisting of 9 stories, located in Skopje, directed by 10 prominent Macedonian directors (http://www.facebook.com/SkopjeRemixed). Violeta Kachakova as collaborating partner from Lokomotiva together with three directors (Borjan Zafirovski, Sasha Stanisik and Sinisha Evtimov) of three films from the Omnibus were invited as guests to festival Dièse.
Additionally, as result from the meeting realised in Skopje with PMG Recordings director Mirko Popov, who presented the music issued on this label, the festival programme editors invited the Macedonian music band Kanton 6, which has live concert at the festival.
The collaboration continues between Lokomotiva and Eldorado Cinéma – Association les Amis de l'Eldo in the frame of the next edition of International festival of short films - Fenêtres Sur Courts, which will happen in November 2012 in Dijon. As part of the festival a special programme part will be dedicated to screening of recent production of short Macedonian films, which are selected by Lokomotiva (film selector – Violeta Kachakova) in collaboration with the Association les Amis de l'Eldo (film selector – Hélène BERNARD).
