Siobhan Davies Dance Company (SDDC) is formed in 1988 in London. During the years, under the leadership of the exceptional Siobhan Davies, the company became one of the leading independent dance companies in Great Britain. In 2000, Siobhan Davies was acclaimed for one of the six most creative British, and in 2002 she received the decoration of honor from the queen, as recognition for her achievements in the field of dance. "Bird Song" is a visual attraction. The performance is a product of the cooperation between Siobhan Davies, visual artist David Ward and the unusual music of Andy Pink, in which he expresses the song of the Australian Pied Butcher bird. The bird song is the key element for this provoking and unusual piece. |
