The development and presentation of the drama is a kind of theatrical experiment, which explores the possibilities of interpretation and setting the drama in interaction between the author, director and the actors. This working format is established within the project - "Writing and directing, today" - a festival of contemporary works, which is organized every year by the Panta Theatre from Caen, Lower Normandy Region in France. The 18th edition of the festival is dedicated to contemporary Macedonian drama and the cooperation with Macedonia. This year the festival is organised in the frame of the Decentralised cooperation programme between the Lower Normandy Region and Republic of Macedonia, in the artistic exchange programme line, coordinated by Lokomotiva, Skopje.
The development and presentation of the drama “Pardon” in Skopje is a result of the partnership established among Lokomotiva, Skopje, Macedonian National Theatre and Panta Theatre from Caen.
The overall project "Writing and directing, today," resulted with:
- Establishment of direct cooperation between French and Macedonian dramaturges, theatre directors (Guy Delamotte, Sabine Revillet, Dejan Dukovski, Srdjan Janikijevikj, Nela Vitosevikj, Gorjan Miloshevki, Martin Kochovski) and actors;
