4 TUNED CITIES - Independent film and visual art festival resulted from a two-year collaboration between 4 partner organizations and programme selectors: Dit 'e Nat' (Kosovo), Balkan Buro (the Netherlands), Kriterion (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Lokomotiva (Macedonia). In the period between October and December 2010, 4 festivals were organised in 4 cities (Pristina, Amsterdam, Sarajevo and Skopje).
4 TUNED CITIES appeared as a result of the need to create conditions for continuous exchange of information and knowledge for the new artistic and cultural creations in the Balkans and Western Europe, in the domain of independent film and visual arts, whose creator is the young generation of artists, filmmakers and cultural workers.
The main programme of the festival(s) consisted of:
A joint exhibition entitled “Creative Cities, Artistic Towns and Fantastic Village”, which presented the works of young contemporary visual artists from several European cities and
A joint film programme of 36 film titles of young directors from the partner-countries and their cross-border neighbours.
