NEEM is a piece to be taken as it is, as it was and as it will be. The people you watch will take it the same way. They take a second to see what has happened, to fill in that second and create the next one as this same one has already finished.
Alexandra Janeva, born in Macedonia in 1975, graduated in contemporary dance in Zagreb, after which she continued her education at the dance academies in Brugge and Lier in Belgium. She had a scholarship from the Jennifer Muller Dance Company in New York and was as a DanceWeb student in Vienna. She worked with Contemporary Dance Company, Zagreb Dance Company and Bad Company in Zagreb where she made her first piece "4" and won a Grand-prix Tendances in Luxembourg. In Germany she worked with Ismael Ivo and Ana Mondini, in France with the System Castafiore Company, and in Belgium with Brice Leroux, David Hernandez and Melanie Munt.
Pisteffo has been working as a singer, guitarist, composer and a leader of different ensembles (Grandma Moses, Marilynstar and Squeezable Future) for years. He is currently working with Snapmasta Rufuz, a.k.a. Raf Druwez, in Pisteffo&Rufuz .They have been travelling with the project and inviting local artists (dancers, poets, vj's,...) to work on specific themes.
