The performance has been realized with the help of the: Ministry of Culture of the R. Macedonia, Ministry of Culture of the R. Slovenia and the Ljubljana City Hall.

Formula will premiere in Macedonia at the LocoMotion festival. In 2009 Formula will be co-produced by Josef Nadj and the Orleans Theatre.

Formula is a contemporary dance project that was initiated by Dejan Srhoj (Slovenia) and Iskra Šukarova (Macedonia). Formula includes structured improvisation as a method dealing with the research of different discourses of communication, formulas of establishing relations between different individuals in different conditions, as well as imposing and decomposing the codes of expression. Formula is a way of open communication; it is a way of collaborating with different artists.
Formula is the pace we create with and the pace we forget with.
Formula is to be and not be on the stage.
Formula is a sonnet, a square, a diagonal, and a recipe.

Dejan Srhoj, after graduating at Ljubljana Ballet School and the Ballet Academy in Munich, Germany, became the soloist of the Slovenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Between 1999 and 2001 he played most of the classical lead roles, such as the Prince in Swan Lake, Kashchey in Fire Bird, the Prince in The Sleeping Beauty, Lucentio in Cranko's The Taming of the Shrew.
In 2000 he co-founded Fičo Balet with Goran D. Bogdanovski, his close collaborator. He has been a freelance performer since 2001. He pursues projects with various artists, as well as his own choreographic work. Since 2004 he has choreographed a puppet theatre performance for adults Ivana, co-created the dance duet Confi-dance, created his first solo performance Edge of Eden, acted in theatre plays by Ivica Buljan and Emil Hrvatin. Recently he has performed in Sun City choreographed by Goran Bogdanovski and in the dance duet Heksamiton choreographed by Magdalena Reiter.
He has received the prestigious Award of the Association of Ballet Artists of Slovenia in 2001 and the DanceWeb scholarship 2003 in Vienna. He is one of the founders of the Balkan Dance Network - the first regional contemporary dance network.

Iskra Sukarova is an established principal soloist and choreographer at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet.
She was a student of contemporary dance at the National Conservatorium Superior in Lyon, France, and in 2002 obtained her Masters Degree at the Laban Center in London, UK.
She has completed several different trainings, seminars for contemporary dance with: Susanne Linke, Mark Tompkins, Joe Alegado, Milli Biterli, Mia Lawrence, Ivan Wolfe, Jennifer Lacey etc. She collaborated with Yoshiko Chuma (The School of Hard Knocks, New York); Allyson Green (New York); Bert Gstettner (Tanzhotel, Vienna) ; Cathy Weis (New York); Alice Castillio (London). 
In 2003 she was invited to perform her solo piece Off at a Tangentat the Tanztenzenden, Germany, the 2nd Balkan Dance Platform - Bucharest and in Fivizzano, Italy, where she was awarded the Golden Dolphin. 
With her new production Ouch Couch she toured in Sarajevo (Teatar fest), Malmö (Dansstationen), Sofia (Redhouse), Belgrade (Dom omladine), Durrës (an nternational festival).
For her research in the field of contemporary dance she has been awarded an Arts Link Fellowship in 1996 and the DanceWeb grant in 2000. She was a part-time contemporary dance teacher at the Secondary Ballet School in Skopje and an art director of the Ballet at the Macedonian National Theatre in Skopje for two years.
In 2003, together with Biljana Tanurovska and Nataša Dimitrievska, she founded Lokomotiva - Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture. At Lokomotiva she is engaged as contemporary dance art director.  She is one of the founders of the Balkan Dance Network and the NOMAD Dance Academy project.
