The classes are lead by our young and experienced dancer and choreographer Ana Josifovska. The whole program for the classes has been elaborated and realized in collaboration with our distinguished contemporary dance choreographer– Iskra Shukarova.

As a participant, you will have an opportunity to meet and work with international dancers and choreographers, who will be taking part in the others Lokomotiva’s programmes.

The contemporary dance is a sum of different modern dance techniques as well as a specific philosophy of movement based on study of the human body and body/mind inter-relationships.

Such techniques include: contact improvisation, dance improvisation, body release techniques, pilates, yoga.

Contemporary dance allows to the dancers to strengthen the body, increase flexibility, build condition, and improve their whole psychophysical development.

These classes are created for everyone who would like to try out new and different kind of recreation. You will be introduced to the world of contemporary dance in an exciting and creative way.

Classes start on 15th October 2008 (Wednesday) and will be held every:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
from 18.00 – 19.00 p.m.
