The three-member jury committee composed of:
- Antonio Mitrikeski - Macedonian film director;
- Ilir Harxhi - Albanian film director and
- Lordan Zafranovic - Croatian film director, this year laureate of the Asterfest’s international prize for high achievements in authors films
Awarded AT HOME with the SILVER HORSESHOE in the competitive ASTERDOX category for creative documentaries.
The golden HORSESHOE went to the Bulgarian film director Andrey Paounov for his film “The Mosquito problem and other stories” and Bronze HORSESHOE went to the Slovenian film director Dimitar Anakiev for his film “Serbian nails”.
ASTERFEST is one of the few festivals in the region that studiously and continuously is dealing with short and documentary film profiles. Moreover, as platform of the festival in 2007 ASTERFEST initiated the network of Tiveriopolian Film Alliance, which among other enables inter-festival and co production exchange of short and documentary films among 15 countries.
Until now, AT HOME was screened at the International documentary film festival - ZAGREBDOX 2008 and at the Balkan Film Festival 2008 in Copenhagen/ Denmark.
AT HOME entered the internationally documentary competition at the International documentary and short film festival – DOKUFEST 2008 from Prizren/ Kosovo, which will be held from 6 until 12 of August 2008.
